Physical but slow gentle class, sometimes more static, sometimes more flow. Pranyama are always included and sometimes meditation seated or lying down. The class is built on alignment and the most common poses/asanas from Hathayoga according to the ISHTA-linage.
Passive form of Yoga (ISHTA-approach) where we support the body with pillows & blankets. This support helps the body to rest, let go of tension, restore energy and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. These resting supine poses will be held from around 10-30 min.
A guided meditation practised lying down in Savasana. Yoga Nidra are mentioned as sleepless sleep where we take the body and mind to a state between sleeping and being awake. This is a powerful practice to release tension from both the body & mind and deeply rest. These Yoga Nidra classes are inspired from Mona Anand, ISHTAYoga.
